Porsche to cut 5,000 jobs by 2035 under new restructuring package

Senior and top management will also waive an equivalent contribution from increases in basic remuneration in 2027 and 2028.
Christmas bonuses will also be reduced from up to 100 to 60% of a monthly salary, as Porsche’s voluntary company share will fall from 45 to five per cent by 2035.
Mobile working will also be reduced from 12 days a month to just eight, while changes in the framework conditions for break-arrangements and production cycle times will be introduced.
Bonuses, benefits of Future Package
Despite these drawbacks, Porsche said the Future Package will introduce an IG Metall membership bonus in the future, which will include one additional day off per year as well as a voucher worth EUR200 per year.
Porsche will also pay employees a one-time transformation bonus of EUR1,500 in August 2026, while IG Metall members will receive a one-time increase in the transformation bonus of EUR411, adding up to EUR1,911.
