Employee computers hacked in Levi’s cyberattack

Access through firm-issued computers

The cyberincident happened after an unauthorised third party used social engineering techniques to access three employees’ company-issued computers, according to Levi Strauss.

It said it initiated response protocols, implemented containment measures, and launched an investigation following the detection.

“No consumer data was impacted,” it said. “The company has not experienced any interruption in business operations as a result of the incident.”

It also does not believe the incident had an impact on its business strategy, operations, financial condition, or results of operations.
